Robert M. Daly, DDS
Dr. Rob Daly, a native of Maryland, is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), the American Cosmetic Association, the International Congress of Implantologists and the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is certified in Invisalign® clear braces as well as Lumineers®. Dr. Daly graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. He has taken numerous courses in advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry. His expertise in technology dental procedures is evident as a provider of CEREC restorations for over 10 years. Dr. Daly has received his fellowship in surgical implants from the Misch Institute of Implantology. He has been a dentist in Anne Arundel County for 23 years and has made this county his home. Dr. Daly’s belief is that a healthy mouth creates a beautiful smile. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters (as well as a good game of golf.)

Poorna Phaltankar, DMD
Dr. Poorna Phaltankar, associate dentist, is thrilled to be a member of Dr. Daly’s team at Waugh Chapel Dental. Raised in Virginia Beach, Dr. Phaltankar, or “Dr. P”, spent most of her life in Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia and then completed a master’s degree at Georgetown. She spent one year in southwest Virginia working for AmeriCorps before attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Phaltankar completed a general practice residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in 2018.
Dr. Phaltankar resides in Old Town Alexandria where she can often be found running the Mount Vernon Trail and reading by the Potomac River.
